Golf Management University Graduation
Thursday December 15th 2009, was the last day of the management course for golf course superintendents. Participants completed 6 golf related subjects successfully. In four terms the following subjects were addressed: strategic management, hospitality management, finance, human resource management, commercial management and golf course management.
The objective of the Golf Management University is to professionalize the golf sector in the Netherlands.

General:
On January 1st , 2009, the Golf Management University was launched. The Dutch association of golf accommodations (NVG) initiated the GMU with. Hotelschool the Hague Performance Management as a partner of the NVG in this project. The Golf Management University offers a number of golf related training programs for staff in and around the golf course.

In the autumn of 2010 the 3rd round of the Management Course will be launched. Both NVG members and non-members can register for the training. For further information you can refer to the website of the GMU (www.golfmanagementuniversity.nl ).
